Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information A_play Studios ("we", "us") collects when you play Royal Worduel (the "Game"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact us any time at supportaplaystudios@gmail.com.

Information we collect

• Account information. A username (chosen by you or generated for guest accounts). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive and store only the stable account identifier those services provide, and — solely to suggest a username — the display name they share. We do not store your email address.
• Device identifier. A random identifier generated by the Game and stored securely on your device. It lets a guest account survive a reinstall. It is not your advertising ID and is not used for tracking.
• Purchase records. When you buy virtual coins, Apple processes the payment. We receive and keep the signed transaction record (transaction ID, product, date) to credit your purchase, prevent duplicate grants, and handle refunds. We never see your payment card details.
• Push notification tokens. If you allow notifications, we store the device token needed to send them. Declining or disabling notifications removes this over time.
• Gameplay data. Match results, virtual-coin balance, rating (WMR), friends list, and session activity connected to your account.
• Aggregate analytics. Daily counters such as active players, matches played, and average session length. These are aggregate numbers, not profiles.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your real name (beyond the optional sign-in display name described above), email address, contacts, photos, or location. The Game currently shows no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use information

• Operating the Game: accounts, matchmaking, leaderboards, friends, and match history
• Crediting and safeguarding purchases, including refund handling and fraud prevention
• Sending push notifications you have opted into
• Understanding overall usage through aggregate statistics

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

Service providers

We use cloud infrastructure providers to host the Game's servers and database. Payment processing is handled by Apple. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Game data is processed on servers located in the United States.

Advertising (future)

We may introduce in-game advertising in a future update. If we do, this policy will be updated first, and any consent required by applicable law (including tracking permissions on iOS) will be requested before any advertising data is collected.

Retention and account deletion

You can permanently delete your account in the Game at any time: Profile → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and removes your account, sign-in identifiers, device identifier link, push tokens, coins, rating, and friends.

Two narrow categories of records are retained after deletion:

• Purchase transaction records, kept to meet financial, refund, and fraud-prevention obligations.
• Match records of games you played against other players, kept so your opponents' match histories remain intact. These contain only your in-game username, which is a pseudonym.
• Aggregate statistics, which contain no personal information.

Security

Authentication credentials are stored in your device's secure Keychain, session tokens are short-lived and stored only in hashed form on our servers, and all traffic between the Game and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).

Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13. We collect no more information from any player than described above, show no advertising, and offer no free-form chat. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the Game or its App Store listing.
